Dil Dosti Etc DVDRip
Movie Review:
Dil Dosti Etc is more of a character driven film rather than a plot driven one, there is no definite story but rather a number of incidents revolving around the characters are clubbed together. The film deals with a rich boy who prefers to play it low key; he belongs to a rich family but prefers to live a casual and aimless life in a Delhi University. His befriends a young gun from Bihar who knows exactly what he wants and goes after it, a go getter who is the complete opposite of him. The film revolves around the various encounters in these two character’s lives. However the film is not a glossy campus flick, it is in fact the opposite. The screenplay is too abrupt and the scenes just seem clubbed together very much like the protagonist without much aim. But it does manage to shed light on its two main characters and does so competently. However the pace is a dampener and the lack of story and excess introspection also seem to make this flick just passable. The film has been produced by Prakash Jha and the story has been written and directed by Manish Tiwary. The film stars youngsters like Imaad Shah as Apurv, Shreyas Talpade as Sanjay Mishra, Nikita Anand, Ishita Sharma, Smriti Mishra etc. The screenplay has been done by Pawan Sony.Apurv is a typical college guy and although he belongs to a rich family, he prefers not to flaunt it. He lives in the Delhi University college campus. He, like many college teens is aimless and casual about life. He is not Mr. Casanova or the college stud but nonetheless has his share of flings. Apurv befriends Sanjay who is the complete opposite of him, Sanjay is into campus politics, he knows what he wants and sets out after it. Apurv has a fling with a prostitute; however there seems to be more than meets the eye in their relationship. He also has a girlfriend, who is a young school girl. Then there is the wannabe model who seems drawn to Sanjay despite the fact that they are complete opposites etc. Sanjay also indulges in a bit of the campus politics. Friendships, affairs, love, lust, politics etc in the lives of these two young college boys. The film does not have a tangible storyline or plot and it merely seems like a few stray episodes in the life of any young college going student have been thrown together. Of course many college students may find a resemblance to these incidents and characters. The two main characters and their natures are brought forth quite well by the director. However the screenplay as well as the execution is unsatisfactory. The screenplay seems to just drag along, the pace is slow and even the execution by Manish Tiwary is not up to the mark. The script is poor as for most part of the film there is no objective shown to the encounters of the protagonists. The editing is also poor and several scenes have a rough edge to them which is clearly visible on-screen. There does not seem to be any particular flow of events or continuity maintained as scenes just change from one rapid issue to the next. The dialogues are fare as the rough language used is often heard in real life campuses. The cinematography is fare. Music does not really have too much of a place in the film, however it is passable. Imaad Shah is fare, but seems to be lacking in enthusiasm and conviction in his role. Shreyas Talpade gives a decent performance and manages to infuse energy into the film with his role. The girls are fare; Smriti Mishra is competent but should have had a stronger role. Ishita Sharma is just average as the school girl and Nikita Anand gives an average performance too.The film is no doubt limited to a certain segment, mainly college kids and that too for multiplex audiences. Dil, Dosti Etc’s screenplay is reflective of college kid’s lifestyle and the characters depicted are believable, however its script not having a concrete plot and the fairly average performances simply make the film a passable, just about average time-pass flick.

Vettiyadu Veliyadu---Kamalhassan,Jyothika
Movie Review:
Story
(Kamal Hassan) is an efficient and intelligent ACP. Some mysterious men kill Raghavan's colleague Anand Raj's (Prakash Raj) daughter. Serial killings persist and investigations reveal that there is a serial killer behind these murders. Raghavan is forced to leave for New York on this official work. The rest of the story is all about how he solves the mystery behind the killings and get hold of killers
Artists Performance
Kamal Hassan gives another stellar performance in this film with his exemplary acting. He looked tough and brought authenticity to his role. Kamalinee Mukherjee did a small role in the film and she is excellent. Jyothika is pretty good as the depressed woman. Prakash Raj is good. Salim Baig (Panda of Gharshana) did a vital role and he suited the character. Lev Gorn is very good as an NYPD cop.

Technical Departments:
story - screenplay - direction:
The basic storyline of this film resembles the story of Murder by Numbers (2002). The thread of two brilliant students committing serial killings and two cops chasing them is lifted from Murder by Numbers. Screenplay of the film is pretty good. The director has gone into the finer details of the film while making it. The direction of the film is stylish and there is brilliance in shot-making. He followed Mani Ratnam's pattern while writing the romance thread for Kamal and Jyothika.

other departments:
Music is nice and picturization is good. Cinematography by Ravi Varman is excellent. Editing by Anthony deserves a special mention. The way he uses diffusion and color transition in the first song is good. Dialogues by Dasarath (Santosham movie director) deserves a special mention. Stunts by Siva are neat. Production values are good.Analysis:
The first half of the film is very good. The second half drags a bit because there is not much of story remains once the identity of killers is revealed. Director handled the romance in the film in a matured way. There is no problem of Tamil nativity in this film because the subject is typical Hollywood cop thriller type. The major plus points of the film are director's taking and Kamal Hassan. On the flipside, the serial killing concept of the film might become too serious for a general entertainment seeker. On a whole, Raghavan is a decent film which you can watch at leisure. Box office wise, the film has potential to do well in A centers.

Hello Premisthara(2007)
Sairam Shankar, brother of Puri Jagannath has finally managed to come up with a good movie that establishes his credentials as an actor.
The film's strory is about two stepbrothers. Their grandfather Vijayakumar decides to keep them apart when they are very young, as they do not get along well. Bhanuchnader is the father of both. Aravind (Sairam Shankar) is employed in a mobile phone company and lives with mother and sister in Hyderabad.
Nandini (Sheela) is an anchor whom hosts a show on a private TC channel. The show is Hello Preimisthara and the hero meets her on the how and they both slowly fall in love. Just when everything is going smoothly, the second hero Arjun (Sairam Shanakr) enters the scene,. As both Aravind and Arjun look very similar, the heroine mistakes one for the other and starts moving closely. Arjun also falls in love with Nandini as a result.Aravind is then engaged to Nandini.
Arjun is wild by nature. So he hatches a plot to kill his stepbrother so that he can marry Nandini. The rest of the story is predictable and in the end the hero Aravind marries Nandini and with this the film ends on a happy note.
Sairam Shanakar as Aravind and Arjun has come up with a decent performance. He has improved a lot from his earlier films. But he still has a long away to go before he can establish himself a true actor.
Sheela looks glamorous but her role does not give her too much of a chance toe perform. The comedy is above average and Sunil, Ali regale the audience with their typical humour. Music is okay. Cinematography is good. The film manages to keep the image of Puri Jagannath the presenter and Dil Raju the producer intact.
The film has all the usual masala elements and can be watched once.

Shrek the Third (2007)
Movie Review:
Being king isn't for everyone--especially if you're a prickly ogre who smells like the shallow end of a swamp. When Shrek married Fiona, the last thing he wanted was to rule Far Far Away, but when his frogger-in-law, King Harold, suddenly croaks, Shrek is quickly fitted for the crown. Now, unless the reluctant would-be king can find a suitable replacement, he'll be royally screwed for the rest of his days. As if Shrek didn't have enough on his plate, Princess Fiona has another little surprise on the way. With his head spinning and his belly in knots, Shrek sets off on a quest to find the only other possible heir to the throne, Fiona's long-lost cousin Artie, an underachieving medieval high schooler. While the ogre is away, his old nemesis Prince Charming rears his handsome head and returns to the kingdom of Far Far Away with redemption on his shallow little mind. Even with Donkey and the ever-so-suave Puss in Boots by their side, it's going to take an ogre-sized effort--and a whole lot of help from Fiona and her band of princesses--for Shrek and Artie to save the day and find their own "Happily Ever After."

Chandamama

Movie Review:
What’s it about?
Rangarao (Nagababu) is kind-hearted village head. For him, his daughter Mahalaskhmi (Kajal) is everything. The city-bred Mahalakshmi comes to their village and soon he arranges a marriage with the local boy Dorababu (Sivabalaji). Dorababu is educated farmer and gentleman. The twist in the tale is that Mahalakshmi has a flashback. She has a lover Kishore (Navadeep) in city. He is mischievous, plays pranks and indulges in practical jokes. One of his practical jokes makes Mahalakshmi believe that he has cheated her. But the story turns U-turn when she reveals her 'story' to Dorababu and sets a flurry of funny incidents.

Analysis:
Chandamama is very simple film and on the whole it is an any okay one. It is enjoyable for its comedy. If you excuse, the first 20 minutes, the film is enjoyable despite the fact that it offers nothing new. Director Krishnavamsi just rehashes his old films (Ninne Pelladutha and Murari) and familiar scenes in a film that has largely rural ambience. But it works due to comedy scenes especially Ahuthi Prasad's character is hilarious and able performances by both the heroes help further.
Some scenes are illogical and it doesn't go deep in to the characterization. Music is by par the weakest in Krishnavamsi's films so far.

Performances:
Ahuthi Prasad is the one character that is enjoyable in the film. In the role of a care-free rich Godavari guy, he carries it off convincingly and brings humor. He steals the show. Navadeep is also very likable. As a hyperactive and mischievous youth, he does at very ease and his Hyderabad accent is hilarious. Siva Balaji looks dignified. He does a kind of role that normally Venkatesh does. He gets all the sympathy. Kajal is appealing in modern dresses than village-belle kind of character. The chemistry between Navadeep and Kajal is excellent. Charmi seems to have dubbed her voice that is not suitable to her svelte figure. Sindhu Menon character is straight from many of KV's earlier films. Yet, she looks glamorous. Nagababu as father is good.
Technically, Prasad Murella work is appreciable. He captures Hampi locations beautifully. Production values are adequate. K M Radhakrishnan's music doesn't appeal.
Krishnvamsi's direction is neat and good but his story has nothing new. Picuterisation of Muddu song is very creative.

Bottom-line:
On the whoe, Chandamama is okay film,. It provides some entertainment and the lead pair is cute. Navadeep, Shivabalaji and Ahuthi Prasad are major plus points. It has everything that associates with a Krishnavamsi film - two dozen or so actors appearing in a single frame, heroines overacting with emotions, hyperactive relationships, an antakshari program, through out film one function or the other happening and houses are decorated with thousands of coconuts, corn, oranges, or what not.

TULASI 2007 SINGLE RS LINK
Review:
The unit of Tulasi, a Victory Venkatesh starrer, expressed absolute happiness at the triumph of the film's audio. They held press meet at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad to share their views with feedback from public. Music director Devi Sri Prasad, director Boyapati Srinu, lyricist Bhaskarabatla Ravi Kumar and district-wide functionaries of Venkatesh Fans associations took part in the media briefing. Tulasi is made on Suresh Productions . Venky, Boyapati and Devi Sri teamed up for the first time together. They are confident of celebrating the triple platinum disc fete of the audio. Devi Sri Prasad said: "I am thankful to Venkatesh fans, the backbone of Venky's success. They made the audio a big hit. This is my first venture with Venkatesh and doing with him is my good luck. The fans played a major role in spreading the impact of the audio to every nook and corner of the state. They are also guarding the music from the clutches of audio piracy". Boyapati Srinu said: "Victory Venkatesh is known for his gentle nature. Venkatesh, Suresh Babu and Ramanaidu gave us full freedom in making of the movie. I assure the fans and general audiences - they are going to see a wonderful movie which shows Venkatesh in the best of his shades. Music by Devi Sri Prasad will rock. It has both melody and beats". Bhaskara Batla said: "I wrote most of the lyrics in a record time of two days or even less. Combination with Devi Sri Prasad and Boyapati Seenu is my luck. Earlier I worked for Boyapati's film Badra. This time, I have more closeness with him. I had put in my maximum effort in synchronizing the melody and beats. I was branded as a lyricist with mass touch. But this film will prove that I too have a big taste for the mass element. I thank Venkatesh fans for their stupendous work".
